Normal doesn't usually include the following:
1. The reality of never seeing my father again.
2. Knowing that in less than two years I'll be moving to England with no perspective return date or any intention to have one.
3. Suddenly having $70,000 when I've always had just enough to make it through.
4. Constantly telling people that my life is settling down and getting back to normal.

The only advice I can offer is that 70k is not a lot of money so be careful what you do with it. Don't go blowing it all on crap!
I know both those things. We're paying off my small amount of debts and investing the rest. But it removes all the financial concerns I had about going back to the UK for my MA which is completely amazing.
(My sister's a financial planner so I'm in good hands.)
