So I've really only been awake for about 14 hours but I'm exhausted. And frustrated and worried. The place was not right and I know this will be a repeat of last September where I'll barely see anything suitable. And I want Filmmaker. I want to be hugged and I want to cry on his shoulder. Instead I'm going to eat more dinner (the lack of sweet food in my house is irritating) and watch tv and go to sleep early. This sucks.

Don't worry - lots of time until May 1st. Stay positive.
And... September is pretty much the opposite of May in terms of apartment hunting. In September you've got a mass of students looking for housing and in May they're all trying to get rid of it. I'm sure you'll have lots to choose from.
Hey, yeah! May is the *best* time to be apartment hunting in Vancouver, promise! August and September are the worst!
Also, I SO know what it's like to want someone for all of those reasons and I want to tell you that you can stand on your own. it's hard, but you can! just make sure you get more sleep! and i'll send you some sort of juice-gift card (shoppers! i found it! shoppers!!)
